The Leadburst Story

Hey Business Owner,

My name is Garry Meston.

I started Leadburst Digital and I would like to share our story with you. I will keep it brief because I know you are extremely busy.

In 2017, I was working in corporate as an Industrial Engineer. I was responsible for managing inventory control at a publicly traded mining equipment company in Johannesburg. My duties included ensuring that we maintained adequate stock levels of spares for all the machines distributed across the country.

As important as it sounds,

I hated it!

I however had a side hustle where I used to build websites in my spare time for small businesses.

Every week, I would invest in courses where I would try to upskill myself with this “online” world… I felt invincible.

In 2018, after months of deliberation, I found the courage to be able to transition from a full-time job to owning and running my agency. I had a small group of loyal clients that helped me still put food on the table.

One day, while hitting the road looking for business, I contacted a local property developer by phoning his number on a billboard at one of his sites and asked him if I could help him generate leads.

To my surprise, he said yes!

We engaged and I started running ads for him.

Things weren’t going very well and even worse, I felt like a fraud.

How can I offer marketing to someone who is paying me, but I don’t have a clear structure or any experience to get us results?

I felt like I was failing him.

Luckily he was very understanding and worked with me during the engagement.

I had the skills to build out Facebook and Instagram campaigns

I had the skills to run Google campaigns that honed in on the correct keywords.

I had the skills to build out compelling landing pages

Etc…

But we weren’t getting the desired result.

Then one day, I came across a video by a guy named Dan Wardrope, one of the biggest names in the lead generation industry. It suddenly hit me—the marketing offer was off.

Other developments on the same road were offering units with better value.

I approached the developer and said, “We’ve tried everything. Let’s make this one last tweak.”

We improved the offer by making the price more eye-catching and added a free furniture pack worth R30,000.

The same day after launching he phoned me and said that he already had viewings set up for that week.

In three months, he sold out his entire development.

The rest is history.

That is when I realised… This is why I want to do what I do.

I want to help businesses thrive…

Fast forward to today,
We have worked with over 120 companies and currently serve over 50 clients at any given time.
